Anyway, I know that almost none of this is on here for you to see. I've been a little reluctant to post anything on the web. I guess I'm paranoid about people stealing them. Also most of them are still very much in development (just finishing character designs and back stories, etc). Also I have no scanner right now.
Some of you may be happy to know that I'm revisiting my mage and thief story. They actually have names now: Estel and Gadji. The series is going to be called The Magical Children. Right now I'm trying to decide how long the series is going to be (it may be the equivalent of a TV mini-series or it may be longer) and I'm currently working on the first issue. I'm hoping to release it before the end of the year (there's an anime convention that I want to go to in Los Angeles in January... I'm hoping to get a table).
I'm hoping to release two of my comics (at least online) by the end of October/beginning of November (to coincide with Halloween and the Day of the Dead). I'll keep you all posted and provide a link to their websites (which reminds me, I'm going to be doing a lot of web design this month and next).
I'm not sure how long the noir comic is going to take. I want to watch more noir films and research more... I do have most of the first issue planned out, though. There's just more backstory and planning to do. Also I need to figure out a name for my second main character. Right now, I'm having no luck at all in that arena. But I am looking at tons of baby names websites.
I'm also planning to apply to work as a caricature artist. As some of you may know, I've been trying to teach myself the art of caricature drawing. I have a few caricatures that I've been working on (and I'm happy to report that they look a lot better than the Doctor Who/David Tennant one that's posted in my gallery). My favorite one is my Stan Lee one. But like I said, I have no scanner right now. But I am hoping to get one soon.
I also plan on applying for the Walt Disney Animation Studios Talent Development Program. So I'll be adding more life drawings to my portfolio as well as working on some animated shorts. I have five shorts that I'm working on. I don't know how many will actually make it into the demo reel I submit on October 20th, though. But I'm probably going to apply again in April (at which point I hope to have most of those shorts either completed or much more fully developed at least). One is holiday themed (working title is "Santa, Baby"), one is a Native American legend, one is based on a German folk legend, one is based on a completely original character/story (that I've been working on for a few years now), and the last one is based on experiences I had in my animation studies.
I also plan on revisiting/reworking that children's book (Jackson Draws) I cowrote/illustrated and possibly trying to get it published and making a few sequels.
Oh and I have lots of writing projects... most of them screenplays/spec scripts.
I've also been toying with the idea of a Chrono Trigger and/or Lufia doujinshi. As many of you know, I'm a huge fan of both video games. I'd like to tell the Lufia story from Iris/Erim/Lufia's point of view. And I don't know if any of you remember my mild obsession with Glenn and Cyrus or Magus and Schala from Chrono Trigger (I used to have fan art of them up in my gallery). So I guess one would be a slash comic and the other would be about the Zeal children. Of course, the stories are intertwined so it may treat it as one big thing... At any rate, I'm hoping to have something put together before that convention in January. But that is something I will definitely post on deviantart. As well as any other fan art I happen to do for the convention.

Sail away where no ball and chain
Can keep us from the roarin' waves
Together undivided but forever we'll be free
So sail away aboard our rig
The moon is full and so are we
We're seven drunken pirates
We're the seven deadly sins
