For those of you who have been wondering just what I meant by creative projects, here's one of them. It is my midterm project for Graphic Design. We were supposed to think of a word and then use digital photos of related objects to spell out that word. I chose the word "draw" and used drawing utensils to spell out the word. I also created a wood texture in photoshop for the "desk" background. It was the first time I have ever done textures in photoshop... but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I also scanned some pics I'm working on for my other creative project (a video game cd cover). It's supposed to have the look of an artist's desk. Then they got bored and spelled out something with the stuff they had around them. Or perhaps they were writing a message to themselves: DRAW! When I print it out I think I'll hang it above my drawing desk as a reminder of what I'm supposed to be doing there. LOL.
OMG!! Thats really creative!! I'm so fave-ing this!!

Great! Looks really good. Only think that would make it look more like the items were on the desk if they had some shadowing. Really creative though.. and you drew pictures for it! You've gotten so good with your porportions!
Thanks. I'm probably going to be adding shadows today with layer effects... I just got tired. Oh and thanks for the proportions comment. That's one of the big things I'm working on. I actually got myself this ruler thing with a slide (it's used in sewing or quilting) to check my proportions. I decided to go with six heads high for both of them. BTW, I'll be submitting the (flat) color versions of those two pics later.
